JF Fall Sports Program
Need parents, players and cheerleaders to obtain advertising for our 2009-2010 Fall Sports Program (see Program Ad Letter and Grandparent Ads on this site)
The JF Football Backers Goal is to meet all the needs for our JF Football Program so that our Coaches can coach and our Football Players can prepare and play the game.
We want the students at Jefferson Forest to get what they deserve. They deserve to have a top-notch athletic program. They deserve to have the best facilities in the state. We have the means for providing this for them through our fund raising. However, if we can't get the parents to participate and donate their time, we won't be able to provide the best for our athletes.
Please help support this program. Please help provide the means to build a championship organization.
Financial Facts
It costs $500+ to equip a football player (this includes uniform, helmet, shoulder pads, knee/hip/thigh pads, girdle)
The team receives a small amount from the school district every year. This money only covers the cost of reconditioning the helmets, which is something that needs to be done every season.
Without the support of the backers, we would not be able to properly equip our players and to meet the football program's needs.
Opportunites for Volunteers
Below are just a few ways you can volunteer in helping to make our JF Football Program a success. We appreciate any time or service that you can provide to our teams!!!
If every family could obtain one ad for this fund raiser will be a success - if you own a company, or your employer, your dentist, your insurance agent and/or anyone else that is looking for exposure and promoting their business to JF families
any assistance that you could give with obtaining ads for the program, gathering articles, etc. would be greatly appreciated since this fund raiser is very time consuming - the more help the better for Jim Jacobs
Golf Tournament Fundraiser (June) - not doing in 2010
Your assistance in obtaining sponsors (can sponsor $50 to $1,000 for various holes, etc) and gathering golfers for this event will greatly be appreciated. We hope for this to be our top dollar fund raiser this year!!

This is more of a spirit gathering for parents and supporter of our JF Varsity Team in that we meet and dine together pre-game before home games. We would welcome any assistance with serving, meal planning, clean up, etc. Dinner starts at 6:00 pm for Cavalier Club Members.

Kelly could always use a hand at the apparel booth at Varsity pre-game and half time, various JV and B Team home games, school registration day, Meet the Team night, Parent Meeting Night, at the Football Banquet . . .

Announcements
With the efforts of our 2007 Cavalier Club we were able to provide a new trailer to haul equipment to our away games, a new dryer for Varisty uniforms, locker room and field clean up, . . . .
So far in 2008 we have been able to provide new editing equipment for game films and have ordered football practice equipment . . .
In 2009 we purchased new field house weight room equipment, dummies, lifting wraps, laundry loops and updated video/dvd software. Thanks to all the players and parents who assisted and supported our fund raisers!!
